Ron Marx D.O., Lic.Ac.
Has
been practicing as a registered osteopath at the North End Practice
since 1981. After arriving in the UK from Israel, he studied Osteopathy
and Acupuncture at the European School of Osteopathy.
During
a successful osteopathic career spanning 27 years, Ron has treated
thousands of patients with a wide range of problems from acute back
and neck pain to various chronic complaints throughout the body.
From sport related injuries to stubborn migraines. While not every
condition can be successfully resolved using osteopathic intervention,
Osteopathy can deal with some of the mechanical components involved
thus helping relieve symptoms safely and efficiently. In cases where
further investigation is needed, Ron is able to refer the patient
to an appropriate practitioner or specialist.
Over
the years Ron has built up a primary health care practice where
people can come and seek advice and treatment for a range of heath
concerns. The combination of osteopathic principles and their therapeutic
applications combined with knowledge of Chinese medical diagnosis
and treatment, give him the tools to help alleviate symptoms such
as stress, anxiety and insomnia in addition to treating pain and
injury. He incorporates a wide range of osteopathic techniques from
structural to cranial and uses acupuncture either as an adjunct
to osteopathy or as a therapy in its own right. Advice about diet,
life style as well as rehabilitation exercise are part and parcel
of the treatment programme he provides.
Ron
Marx is a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the
British Osteopathic Association (BOA). He sits on the education
committee of the London Osteopathic Society.
